Rental Agreement

• A Security Deposit is required to hold a booking date(s).
• Please make cheques payable to Cherry Creek Community Recreation Commission (CCCRC) A separate cheque is required for the Security Deposit.
• All bookings are considered to be tentative until the Security Deposit & a signed Rental Contracts are received from the client.
• Parties must restrict their activities to only those portions of the hall as stated in the contract. The renter will be charged the full rate for use of any portion not authorized.
• Events at the Cherry Creek Hall are not permitted to run past 2:00 am. Please close the bar & shut down the music accordingly to allow guests to vacate before this time.
• If a function goes over the agreed time an additional fee may be charged.
• Any damage must be reported immediately to the custodian in charge of rentals.
• In the unlikely event that the client’s booking has to be canceled by the Cherry Creek Community Recreation Commission due to unforeseen circumstances, the Security Deposit & Rental Fees will be returned in full.
• In the event of the client canceling the rental, the booking fee will be refunded only if the hall is re-rented.
• Sound System is available by special arrangement. Cost is $25.00 per event.
• The renter is strongly advised to purchase Event Insurance.
• If alcohol is being served, it is the Renter's responsibility to obtain a Special Occasion Liquor Licence.
Note: The Cherry Creek Community Recreation Commission's insurance does not cover the client's liability in the event of a claim.

• When the kitchen is required ONE PERSON must have a Food Safe Level 1 certificate.
• Tea towels & dish clothes are not provided.
• The renter or the renter's caterer is responsible for clean up of the kitchen so that is left in the same condition in which it was found.
This includes:
• Wash all dishes & cutlery. Return 50 pieces of each per cupboard.
• Removal of all food & items related to the event.
• Wipe down all kitchen surfaces, sinks, stove, fridge, carts & microwave, if used.
(Clean with Bleach Solution provided)
• Sweep & mop kitchen floor.
• Removal of all recyclables.
• Removal of garbage to outside waste containers.
•Turn off large fridge, dishwasher & lights.

• The length of the main hall is 72' long & 32' wide.
• The tables are 8' long & 32" wide.
• Round tables are 8' in diameter.
• Parties renting the facility must limit decorations to 8'. No staples, tacks, nails, scotch tape or duct tape to be used on walls & tables. Masking tape & 3M hooks are allowed.
• Absolutely no confetti or table confetti (sparkles) allowed. There will be a $30.00/hr clean up fee if used.

• All decorations & personal items brought in by the renter must be removed
• Tables & Chairs must be wiped & returned to carts. PLEASE DO NOT DRAG THEM ACROSS THE FLOOR. Each cart is numbered with the appropriate number of tables & chairs it holds.
• Sweep floors of all debris.
• Spot mop spills & sticky areas (broom & mop provided).
• Please remove all recyclables that you bring into the hall, the ACRD will charge the hall double the tipping fee if ANY type of recyclables are found in the outside garbage bin. If your group is responsible for an extra charge you will incur the full amount off your damage deposit. (This includes plastics, cardboard, paper, bottles, cans etc., anything that you can recycle)
• Remove all remaining garbage to outside waste container in parking lot.
• Return any rented equipment in the condition in which it was rented.
• Check bathrooms to ensure that all toilets have been flushed & taps are turned off properly. Ensure there is no nasty surprises for our cleaning staff.
• Please check the grounds as you are responsible for cleaning up all garbage outside pertaining to your event.
• Clean up & removal of music equipment must be completed by 12:00 noon the following day.
• The Cherry Creek CommunityRecreation Commission assumes no responsibility for instruments or equipment not removed
• In the event that the facility is left unclean a $30.00/hr cleaning fee will be charged.
• When leaving the building ensure lights are off & doors are locked.
• The key may be left on the bar.
• Failure to comply with the above will result in the loss of your Damage Deposit.
